Tuna Salad with a Twist

There's nothing like a good tuna salad — if it is low in mercury.  I use Safe Catch and still keep the intake limited to about once per week.  Tuna is a great protein source, very low in fat, and rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which support heart health, brain health and skin.  I like to mix a dab of mayo with Dijon mustard to stir into the tuna.

This salad also has torn pieces of organic turkey bacon, another lean protein source — and avocado, which adds monounsaturated fats that are great for heart health and skin.
